This past Wednesday night the Pyle's invited our youth group to come to their house to have the "Annual CYG Christmas Party." We ate, played Dirty Santa, fellowshipped, and had a great time. Now for the past two years (that I know of) we've had it at their house and it's been just great. The lesson was, you can wrap a present and make it as nice and pretty as you want it, but if there's nothing good inside the box, then what's it worth? And you can look like you have it all together but in reality you're lost and you don't know what to do. And alot of the time we do that and fool people. I know I have done that and I most likely will again but we need to let God in and show us the way. Because no matter how much we fool others we couldn't, can't, and will never fool God into making ourselves look like we've got it together. I hope everyone takes this lesson and applies it to the way they live.
For those of you who read this, it's my 1st blog so don't laugh I know it's not the greatest. Thanks!
Logan Ferg.
